Ingredients For oyster fritters

  • 1 c
    chopped drained oysters
  • 4
    eggs, separated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    bell pepper, minced (optional)

How To Make oyster fritters

  • 1
    Beat yolks til thick & creamy. Add onions and bell pepper, salt and pepper then flour a little at a time. Fold in oysters and stiffly beaten egg whites. Drop by spoonfuls in hot grease.
