How to Make Mom's Barley Casserole
- In a frying pan add butter and sauté onions for about 1 minute. Add mushrooms and fry for a minute longer. Then add your chicken stalk and barley. Pour into a casserole dish and let sit over night.
- When ready to cook, preheat oven at 350. cook covered for 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup slivered almonds stir well and bake for 40 minutes more
