Ingredients For microwave bread and butter pickles

  • 2 c
    peeled, sliced cucumbers
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1
    onion, sliced
  • 1/2 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    mustard seed
  • 1/4 tsp
    turmeric

How To Make microwave bread and butter pickles

    Combine all in a microwave safe bowl.

    Cover with a piece of waxed paper, put in microwave and cook on high for 8 mins. Stir twice during this time.

    Cool, store in refrigerator up to 3-4 weeks (if they last that long
