My father a true southern "soup bean lover" came up with this. I requested it a lot growing up. you can use left over beans. use more or less salt or pepper to taste. Hope you enjoy!!

Ingredients
- 1 can lucks pinto beans
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
- 4 - green onions
- 1/4 cup self-rising buttermilk corn meal
- 1/8 teaspoon salt and pepper
How To Make "mess around"

Step 1heat skillet. add olive oil

Step 2saute onions, till there starting to soften.

Step 3add in corn meal stirring constantly, until cornmeal is brown add beans, salt and pepper, cook until beans are hot and thickened,
