heres a asian dish i just love its chinese my version enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 pound large shrimp cleaned chopped
  • 2 - scallions finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons white rice vinegar
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 3 cups peanut oil

How To Make fried pork and shrimp wontons

  • Step 1
    place a large plate near you and keeep a damp cloth handy to cover your finished wontons so theyb dont dry out. In a large bowl, combine the pork, shrimp, scallions, and ginger. add the soysauce, rice vinegar, salt, and white pepper and mix well. the filling should be sticky wet. Fill a remekin near you with some water; this will be sealing the wontons. angle a wonton wrapper so that it faces you like a diamond shape. dip you finger in the water and moisten the edges around. place one heaping teaspoon of filling in center of wrapper fold a triangle byfolding the bottom to the top tip and pinching out as mmuch air as possible. add a dab water to either side tip fold them together, so one overlaps the other.
  • Step 2
    place the finished wonton on the plate . keep the damp cloth on the wanton and repeat process with the rest wontons.
  • Step 3
    add peanut oil to a wok or pot. heat oil till hot. gently lower the wontons into the oil frying 6 at a time for about 4 minutes, while turning with a spatula, until golden brown. place wontons back on plate lined with paper towel let cool slightly serve with soy sauce, chili sauce or your own version sauce ummmmmm
