Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- cornflakes, crushed - enough to top casserole
How To Make cheese grits with parmesan/cornflake topping

Step 1Bring salted water to a boil and add grits - cook until thick.

Step 2Add butter and grated cheese - cool. When cool enough, add lightly beaten eggs and mix well. Add mixture to a 9 x 9 inch greased casserole dish.

Step 3Combine parmesan cheese and lightly crushed cornflakes together and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.

Step 4Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with your favorite meat dish.
