I use different varities of pears. My last batch was Bartlett, Green Anjou, Red Anjou and Bosc. To make a vegan version use 3 tablespoons of sugar in the raw in place of the honey.

Ingredients
- 4 large pears
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/8 cup dried cherries
How To Make rice cooker pear sauce

Step 1Peel, core and chop the pears.

Step 2Add all ingredients to the rice bowl. Place on cover and set on cook. Stir every now and again.

Step 3Cook until pears are tender. Mash. If desired, add dried cherries. Serve warm or chill.
