not your same ol' cranberry relish/salad
I've never been a big fan of cranberry relishes until I made this; it's more of a salad. It came from our Family Heritage cookbook; my grandmas recipe. It's a great 'year round' feature at our house; we love it!

Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup white sugar or splenda
- 1 small pkg. red jello (i use sugar free)
- 1 cup apples, peeled, cored, chopped
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
How To Make not your same ol' cranberry relish/salad

Step 1Wash cranberries. Put in a pan, cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook until they start popping, stir and go a couple minutes longer.

Step 2Add sugar and jello to the cooked cranberries; cool.

Step 3Add the apples, walnuts and celery stirring well. Place in a covered container and refrigerate. This will last up to 3 weeks in the fridge.
