This is a recipe from my late Mother-in-Law's cookbook that she made every holiday. It is really different and delicious and super simple to put together and there's NO COOKING involved. Hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients For cranberry orange relish

  • 1 lb
    cranberries
  • 1 lg
    or 2 small oranges
  • 2 c
    sugar

How To Make cranberry orange relish

  • 1
    Put cranberries through grinder. Peel orange, removing seeds and all white membrane, leaving pulp exposed on surface. Put some of the rind, and all the pulp through grinder. Add sugar and blend well. Put in container and let stand overnight in the refrigerator so flavors blend.

    This keeps indefinitely.

    Please realize this is a very old recipe. I copied it just the way Mom had it, by "grinder", I think a food processor or Ninja is the ticket today.
