applesauce
I was in upstate NY this weekend and apple trees were growing along the side of the road. We picked as many as we could reach. These apples were different varieties, colors and sizes. Most were downright ugly! It turns out, only the peels were ugly-the insides were perfect! This is how I made applesauce and it's delish!
