My mom used to make this for Thanksgiving. I've been making it for the last 12 Thanksgivings. Just keeping my mom's tradition going.

Ingredients
- 1 can whole cranberry sauce (lg. can)
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/8's
How To Make apple compote

Step 1place all ingredients in casserole dish. Stir to mix well.

Step 2Bake at 425 for 50. minutes. Stir after 25 minutes.

Step 3This is a great Thanksgiving side dish served warm. Can also be served cold. Add a little whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and you have dessert.
