Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes, dry packed (not in oil)
- - boiling water
- 4 ounces goat cheese, soft type (chevre)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil (or 2 teaspoons dried)
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
How To Make tomato and basil goat cheese spread

Step 1In a small bowl, cover tomatoes with boiling water. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain and discard liquid. Finely chop tomatoes.

Step 2In a medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, cheeses, basil, garlic and pepper. Stir in enough milk to reach a spreading consistency.

Step 3Cover and chill for at least 2 hours (up to 8 hours).

Step 4Serve with assorted crackers.
