How to Make The Best Tuna Melt - My Way

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain the tuna very well. (this is very important).
  2. In a small bowl; blend all of the ingredients. Except the bread and butter.
  3. Spread about 1/4 to 1/2 cup on 4 slices of bread.
  4. Top with remaining 4 slices of bread.

I then take 3 - 4 tablespoons of butter and zap it in the microwave for a few seconds, just long enough to soften to spreadable consistency.

Spread each side of the bread.
  5. Over medium heat; on a griddle or I use an iron skillet, brown each side of the sandwich 4 - 5 minutes per side.
  6. These are so good. Sometimes I add a dash of cayenne pepper to them, for an extra kick..
