My husband was grilling steaks and I wanted to have some flavored butter on them. Instead of mixing several different herbs and spices with the butter, I decided to try the pesto that I already had on hand. We liked it - hope you do, too! (Cook time is actually chilling time.)

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1-2 tablespoon prepared pesto
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make pesto butter

Step 1When butter is softened, stir in the pesto and parmesan. Add salt and pepper if desired.

Step 2Chill until firm. Serve on steak, potatoes, pasta, veggies, etc.
