tasty dried tomato spread
I loved the cream cheese spread at Beagle Bagel, but wanted a little more umpphh to it. So, I got in the kitchen and dreamed this up. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!

I call this the party size, but....
Ingredients
- 8 - green onions
- 2 packages 12 oz. whipped cream cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sweet leaf basil
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 4 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes (i use california sun-dry sundried julienne cut tomatoes with herbs 8.5 oz jar)
- 1 - clove garlic
How To Make tasty dried tomato spread

Step 1Measure your salt, pepper, parsley flakes and basil; put into a medium size mixing bowl.

Step 2In a small food processor, or chop finely, your green onions, clove of garlic and sun-dried tomatoes with some of the oil from your sun-dried tomato jar. Pulse until desired consistency or chop to your desired size.

Step 3Add the tomato/onion mixture to mixing bowl.

Step 4Add both containers of whipped cream cheese. Mix together all ingredients thoroughly.

Step 5Serve with your fave crackers or bagel crisps. Or spread on a toasted bagel!
