I love using my roots as a way to put flavors together, this is a great Mediterranean combo of flavors and a quick twist on the the typical bruschetta. Makes a great appetizer or snack especially in the spring and summer months!

Ingredients
- 1 - loaf of french bread sliced and toasted
- 250 grams feta cheese crumbled
- 2 cloves garlic skin peeled
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 - zest of a whole lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- - freshly ground pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons fresh chopped dill
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped chives
- - cherry tomatoes sliced in half for garnish
How To Make mediterranean bruschetta

Step 1Place the feta, oil, garlic, zest and pepper in a food processor. Process until smooth. Stir in dill and chives. Spread on toasted french bread slices and top with sliced cherry tomatoes.

Step 2Also a great spread for sandwiches, turkey burgers or wraps and served with crackers.
