Ingredients
- 2 cups raw natural almonds
- 2 tablespoons pure canola oil or sunflower oil
- OPTIONAL
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons salt
How To Make almond butter

Step 1Put almonds in food processor and pulverize for 5 minutes. A fine crumby texture with some oil will form.

Step 2Add oil. Process for 5 more minutes until a thick but spreadable texture forms.

Step 3It is best to keep the recipe plain if it is being used in other recipes. Add honey and/or brown sugar for a sweet spread. Add salt for a more peanut butter like spread.
