Best on meats that cook for long periods over low heat, since sugar in rub can burn at high heat. Use on brisket, ribs or leg of lamb. Also good during winter on meats done in slow cooker.

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
