diy essentials: spicy beef fajita spice mix
Will be making up some fajitas next week, and this is the spice mix I use. It has some nice heat, and a bit of savory, and sweet. Never fails to please. Just to let you know, this spice mix is designed for beef fajitas; not chicken or other proteins. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

How To Make diy essentials: spicy beef fajita spice mix
-
Step 1PREP/PREPARE
-
Step 2If stored in a cool/dry location, in a glass container with a tight-fitting lid, this spice will last about six months.
-
Step 3This recipe has salt, as most fajita spice recipes do; however, if you want to limit your salt intake, just reduce it, or leave it out. It still tastes pretty dang good.
-
Step 4Gather your ingredients (mise en place).
-
Step 5Combine all the ingredients together, and store until needed.
-
Step 6PLATE/PRESENT
-
Step 7I use about 2 – 3 tablespoons per pound of fajita meat. Enjoy.
-
Step 8Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
