Cutting the calories and keeping a sweet nutty flavor to your breakfast that is low in fat. This is a spread I created. I spread it on an English muffin, bagels, or pita chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    reduced fat,or fat free cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 2 - 3 tsp
    natural maple syrup
  • 1/4 c
    raisins
  • 1/4 c
    chopped almonds or walnuts .chopped finely.
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon zest

How to Make Nutty Cinnamon Raisin Cream cheese Spread

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix in a bowl the Cream cheese,cinnamon,nutmeg,syrup,lemon zest together.
  2. Add the raisins and walnuts and combine. Spread on bread,English Muffins,Bagels,and Pita chips etc.
  3. Store covered in refrigerator
