This is a butter that is made at a Texas Landmark for comfort food. They put this on an aged Certified Angus Steak. It's great! Thanks for sharing, Threadgill's.

Ingredients

orange
1 medium
lemon
1 clove
garlic
1/2 lb
(2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1/8 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
tarragon
1 tsp
soy sauce

How to Make Citrus Butter

Step-by-Step

  • 1Grate the top layer (colored part only) of orange and lemon rind. Chop rind and garlic very fine. Squeeze juice from the fruit and set aside.
  • 2Cream butter in mixer, adding garlic, rind and spices. Add soy sauce and reserved juice. Whip until thoroughly blended.

    *Note: Extra citrus butter may be frozen
