This is an old family recipe, which I adore. If there is no Brandy Butter then I don't want to eat any mince pies, Christmas pudding etc

Ingredients
- 7 ounces caster sugar (superfine)
- 4 ounces butter, unsalted
- 2 tablespoons brandy
How To Make brandy butter

Step 1I would recommend this be made using a hand held mixer. Cream the butter in a bowl really well until smooth and paler in colour. Add the sugar and slosh in the brandy and cream well again.

Step 2If you want to add more brandy then add 1 tbsp of icing sugar at a time (once you've put the brandy in) and beat well until combined.
