Easy Roasted Green Salsa (Salsa Verde)
1 lbtomatillos, husks removed
1/4 colive oil
1/2 tspground black pepper
1 bunchfresh cilantro
How to Make Easy Roasted Green Salsa (Salsa Verde)
- Preheat broiler.
- Place tomatillos, onion, peppers and tomato on a baking sheet. Drizzel olive oil over the vegetables and season with salt and pepper.
- Place under broiler. Cook vegetables until tender and outer skin chars (about 30 minutess).
- Remove skin from tomatoes. Place all vegetables in food processor, leaving out most juice that collects during broiling.
- Roughly chop cilantro and add to processor. Process until smooth. Season with salt, if needed. Eat hot or cooled.
