easy roasted green salsa (salsa verde)
I make lots of different salsa. This one is great with chips, but can also be tossed with pasta and grilled chicken, or even as a sauce for grilled steaks.

Ingredients
- 1 pound tomatillos, husks removed
- 1 - onion, halved
- 3 - jalapenos, halved
- 1 - tomatoe, halved
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
How To Make easy roasted green salsa (salsa verde)

Step 1Preheat broiler.

Step 2Place tomatillos, onion, peppers and tomato on a baking sheet. Drizzel olive oil over the vegetables and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Place under broiler. Cook vegetables until tender and outer skin chars (about 30 minutess).

Step 4Remove skin from tomatoes. Place all vegetables in food processor, leaving out most juice that collects during broiling.

Step 5Roughly chop cilantro and add to processor. Process until smooth. Season with salt, if needed. Eat hot or cooled.
