catsup low sodium, low so optional

jalapenos
5 clove
garlic

sweet onion
1/2 c
brown sugar
3/4 c
molasses
3 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
liquid smoke
1/4 c
apple cider vinegar
2 tsp
paprika

ADD AT END OF COOKING

1/2 c
brown sugar
1/4 c
molasses
1/4 tsp
cumin
1 Tbsp
granulated garlic
1 tsp
liquid smoke flavoring
2 tsp
apple cider vinegar

How to Make Jalapeno BBQ Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place garlic in food processor and mince. Remove and add jalapenos to food processor after removing the stem. Finely chop. Dice onion.
  • 2Add all ingredients except those you re-season with at the end. Simmer for about 4 hrs.
  • 3At end of cooking time while sauce is still very hot, add remaining ingredients, stir well to combine and allow to cool to refrigerate.
