How to Make Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk

Step-by-Step

  1. In a blender combine the boiling water and butter.
  2. Add the sugar and let it run for a few seconds.
  3. Add vanilla and let it run a few seconds more.
  4. Turn off the blender, add the powdered milk, then blend on low until the mixture is thick.
  5. Use immediately, or store in a covered container in the frig.
    This will stay fresh up to one week.

    NOTE: Try it in coffee!
