My dad (Doug) loved BBQ and would watch the food network faithfully. He found a recipe one day for Diabetics and made his own tweek to it! We all love this recipe I hope you enjoy it to!!

  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/4 c
    herbed wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    chopped chalets or (grated onion)
  • 2 clove
    garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    celery powder or (seed)
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1
    lid liqiud smoke

How to Make Doug's Bar-B-Q-Sauce


  1. Put in a quart jar (cleaned mayo jar) seal with a lid. Put in refridgerator this will last for a a few months. This BBQ is best if you cook with meat. This isn't a dipping sauce unless you boil for optimum taste!!
