Ingredients For delicious buttermilk pancake syrup

  • 1/2 c
    unsalted, butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda

How To Make delicious buttermilk pancake syrup

    In a saucepan, boil butter, sugar and buttermilk until sugar is dissolved. Take off the heat and add vanilla and baking soda.

    The syrup will foam up, then settle back down as it cools. ( didn't want you alarmed when you add the soda.)
