How to Make Butterscotch Sauce


  1. Stir the brown sugar and corn syrup together in a small heavy bottom pan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 6 minutes.
  2. Remove from the heat, stir in the salt, butter and vanilla, and blend.
