blackberry balsamic reduction
I learned to make my own balsamic reduction last year while taking a cooking class; and this last fall while picking blackberries I thought blackberry balsamic reduction sounded good' so this is my reduction. Serve on fish, chicken, duck...it is particularly good on ice cream.

- 1 cup pomain balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups blackberries
How To Make blackberry balsamic reduction

Step 1Simmer all ingredients about 1/2 hr. then strain through cheesecloth; return to stovetop and cook til Nappe.(In cooking, nappe refers to either the ability of a liquid to "coat the back of a spoon" or the act of coating a food)
