This is a great recipe for sauce, but for marinade, just add 1/4 cup water

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water (for marinade) or use 1 cup (for sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar ( for marinade) 5 tbsp ( for sauce)
  • 1-2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch (for sauce)
  • 1/4 cup cold water (for sauce)

How To Make teriyaki sauce or marinade

  • Step 1
    Mix together every thing but the cornstarch and the 1/4 cup water. Bring to boil stirring constantly.
  • Step 2
    Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water. Add to first heated mixture. Cook until thick, adding more water if necessary.
  • Step 3
    For marinade, put first 6 ingredients in a Ziploc bag and add thinly sliced raw sirloin steak.
