This is a great recipe for sauce, but for marinade, just add 1/4 cup water

Ingredients

1/4 c
gluten-free soy sauce
1/4 c
water (for marinade) or use 1 cup (for sauce)
1/2 tsp
powdered ginger
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
brown sugar ( for marinade) 5 tbsp ( for sauce)
1-2 Tbsp
honey
2 Tbsp
corn starch (for sauce)
1/4 c
cold water (for sauce)

How to Make Teriyaki Sauce or marinade

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix together every thing but the cornstarch and the 1/4 cup water. Bring to boil stirring constantly.
  • 2Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water. Add to first heated mixture. Cook until thick, adding more water if necessary.
  • 3For marinade, put first 6 ingredients in a Ziploc bag and add thinly sliced raw sirloin steak.
