Great marinade for any meat you're using in a southwestern recipe. I threw this together to marinade steaks for fajitas. Perfect!

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 1/3 c
    canola oil or olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 4-5 dash(es)
    tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    ancho powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    adobo powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano, ground
  • 1/2 tsp
    mrs. dash fiesta lime
  • 1/2 tsp
    mrs. dash southwest chipotle
  • 1/4 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 c
    chopped fresh cilantro.

How to Make Ancho adobo marinade

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a gallon size plastic bag. Put in meat.
  2. Squish and twist to coat meat well. Put in refrigerator until ready to cook meat. Needs at least 2 hours. Can make a day ahead and marinate overnight.
