My family and I have enjoyed this recipe over store bought syrups. It's has a homemade Mrs. ButterWorths's flavor and has a caramely flavor. Enjoy on Pancakes, Waffles, or in peanut butter. ;)

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 teaspoons imitation vanilla
How To Make homemade syrup

Step 1Melt butter and water in a sauce pan.

Step 2Add vanilla and sugar. (If using real vanilla, use 1 tsp.) Stir on medium heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Makes 2 cups of syrup
