I'VE A LOT OF FREEZE DRIED FRUIT, SO I THOUGHT WHY NOT MAKE A PIE FILLING AND PUT IT UP 4 WINTER INCASE I NEED A PIE FOR SOMETHING I'VE GOT THE PIE FILLING

Ingredients

  • - 1 1/2 cups freezdried cherries in bowl
  • - 1 1/3 cup sugar in bowl w/cherries
  • - 1/4 cup cherry juice in bowl with cherries
  • - boil 1 pint canning jar with lids seals ect..
  • - boil everything ur going to use as well

  • Step 1
    PLACE ALL INGREDIENTS IN BOWL [EXCEPT CORN STARCH] TIL CHERRIES PLUMP AND EVERYTHING IS ENCORPERATED IN THE BOWL. POUR INTO LARGE SAUCE PAN

    LET IT SIMMER FOR A WHILE IT WILL START SMELLING AWESOME[ABOUT 25MINS] THEN ADD CORN STARCH 1 TESP AT A TIME STIR TIL DESOLVED THEN ADD THE 2 TEASP OF CORN STARCH STIR TIL DESOLVED
  • Step 3
    WHEN WELL INCORPERATED TAKE THE LADEL AND PLACE INTO 1 PINT JAR. PLACE SEAL AND RING LID ON TIGHTLY.[WHILE HOT] THEN WAIT FOR THE POP AND ALWAYS LABEL UR JELLIES/JAMS/ PIE FILLINGS, ECT....

    AND DATE THEM AS WELL
