So yummy, and I made it healthier by using lower fat ground turkey meat, but you can use leand ground beef. And this is all microwaved, so it's quick to make.

  • 1/2 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    16 oz can refried beans
  • 1
    8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 2 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 c
    light sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/8 tsp
    chili powder
  • ·
    finely shredded lettuce

How to Make Taco salad dip


  1. In microwave safe bowl, micro ground turkey 1 min, crumble, microwave until cooked. Stir in green bell pepper, onion, beans, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, hot pepper sauce and garlic. stir to combine.
  2. Cover and microwave 4 mins. Spread mix into a microwave safe 9" pie plate. Cover and microwave 4 mins.
  3. In small bowl, mix together sour cream, 1 tbsp cheese and chili powder. Spread over mix in pie plate. Sprinkle w/ lettuce and remaining cheese. Serve w/ tortilla chips.
