italian lasagna dip w/ crusty italian bread
This dip is great for a party or to go along w/ an italian meal. I serve w/ crusty italian bread, but you can serve w/ crackers too.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 15 ounces part skim ricotta cheese
- 1 - jar marinara sauce
- 8 ounces reduced-fat shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried italian herbs
- 1/4 cup basil, crushed
- 1 - loaf crusty italian bread
How To Make italian lasagna dip w/ crusty italian bread

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Spray a 9" pie pan w/ cooking spray. Heat oil in small skillet over medium heat. Add onion to skillet, cook 3 mins. Add garlic, cook 1 mins.

Step 2Spread ricotta cheese evenly into bottom of pan. Spread w/ onion and garlic. Layer 1/2 marinara sauce and 1/2 the mozzeralla cheese, repeat layers.

Step 3Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese and dried italian herbs. Bake 20 mins, or until bubbly. Sprinkle w/ basil. Serve w/ italian bread, sliced.
