A very fresh tasting salsa, you use tomatoes from the garden. I serve this w/ baked tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 large fresh garden tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 - jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces no salt added, tomato sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to your taste

How To Make fresh from the garden salsa

  • Step 1
    In bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well. Cover, chill until ready to use.
