dilly dip

Updated on Aug 2, 2014

The first time I had dill dip, it was served in a hollowed out round loaf of pumpernickel bread with the chunks from the middle of the bread on the side for dipping. It was so delicious that I had to try to recreate it. There wasn't any internet back then, but I managed to do it and I've made it the same way ever since. As a matter of fact, dill is growing in my garden every summer just so I can make my dilly dip!
