I tried many recipes that were supposed to be cookie dough dip, and they all seemed to taste more like sweetened cream cheese with chocolate chips in them. So I experimented until I came up with this one & I think it tastes just like the cookie dough we all love to eat!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp
    unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 8 oz
    heavy whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    mini chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt the 3 Tbsp butter in small sauce pan, add brown sugar & stir to combine. Bring to a boil, & boil 1 minute. Remove from heat & set aside to cool.
  2. In large bowl, whip heavy whipping cream, 2 Tbsp sugar & 1 tsp vanilla together until stiff peaks form. Transfer to another bowl & set aside (keep cool).
  3. In same mixing bowl, cream 2 Tbsp butter, cream cheese, sugar & vanilla.
  4. Slowly add powdered sugar, and flour, to cream cheese mixture, beat until well combined.
  5. Add brown sugar butter mixture to the mixing bowl, and beat until well combined.
  6. Carefully fold in whipped cream, then chocolate chips. Mixture will be very soft.
  7. Refrigerate for 3 hours, or overnight. Serve chilled, with lots of choices for dipping.
