The tomatillo is a plant of the nightshade family, related to the cape gooseberry, bearing small, spherical and green or green-purple fruit of the same name. Tomatillos, referred to as green tomato (Spanish: tomate verde) in Mexico, are a staple in Mexican cuisine. I didnt know that, so I wanted to share..:)

Ingredients
- 12 - tomatillos, fresh
- 1 large red onion
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 medium avocado
- 1 medium lime
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
How To Make verde sauce

Step 1Heat pan on med high , adding oil. Drop in all the ingredients except avocado. Cook until tomatillo is soften. Place into a blender or processor. Add avocado blend until smooth. salt and pepper to taste.
