Ingredients

28 oz
can tomatillos
1/4 c
fresh cilantro
1 tsp
granulated garlic
**heat source, see note below
**peach or apricot or plum jelly

How to Make Sweet Heat Breakfast Salsa

Step-by-Step

  • 1For heat use any hot pepper you like(jalapeno, habanero, etc) or rehydrate about 5 chile de arbol, stems removed. Place pepper(s) in food processor with tomatillos, about half the juice, granulated garlic and fresh cilantro. Puree.
  • 2Now add equal amounts of salsa verde and jelly in a sauce pan for about 5 min, or until jelly becomes liquid. I normally use 1 c of each.
