Ingredients
- 2 cans diced tomatoes - drain the juice from one can (14.5 oz each)
- 2 - jalapenos, sliced in half (remove the white part and seeds if desired)
- 1 teaspoon (heaping) minced jarred garlic
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 cup finely diced white onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro, stems and leaves (measure after chopping)
How To Make happy hour salsa

Step 1Add jalapenos, garlic, sugar, salt, and the juice from the one can of tomatoes to the blender, and pulse about 5 times. Pour in tomatoes. Pulse about 20 times until a slightly chunky consistency.

Step 2Pour tomato mixture into a medium-sized bowl. Stir in onion and cilantro. Serve with tortilla chips.
