For every party or get together I have. I try to make sure I have enough finger foods to feed an army. Well in my case the army, navy air force & marines. BROTHERS LOL. I was raised on hot spicy foods. Not only cause they are good but beacuse am putero rican...

prep time 25 Min
cook time 15 Min
method ---
yield 16 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4 - jalapeno peppers (3 inches long)
  • 1/3 cup boursin cheese with garlic & herbs
  • 8 slices precooked bacon, halved
  • 1 can philly crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup pineapple or fruit salsa

How To Make that's a spicy popper

  • Step 1
Heat the oven to 375F. Carefully remove the stems fromthe chiles. Cut each 1 n half lengthwise & again horizontally to make 4 pieces. Remove & throw away the seeds. Spoon about 1 tps cheese into each chile quarter. Then wrap half slice of bacon around each.
  • Step 2
On a cutting board unroll the dough. Separate dough into 8 triangles. From the center of the longest side to the opposite point. Then cut each triangle in half. Making about 16 triangles pieces. Place the chile cheese side down on each dough piece. Fold 1 point over the filling. Then fold the 2 remaining points over the first point. Then place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step 3
Then bake 12to 15 mins or until golden brown. Immediately remove from oven & serve with the salsa.
  • Step 4
Special Tip: You may use 1 can El Paso whole green chiles in place of the jalapenos.
