I've lost track how many times I have given this recipe away. It's loaded with flavor, and easy to make.

yield Yields 4 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 - large can of rotel tomatoes, original or mild (if you can't fine a large can, use 3 regular size
  • 3 - green onions, quartered
  • 1 1/2 - limes, juice and zest included
  • 6 - large cloves of fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon accent
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lawry's garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, upper stems included
  • 1/2 - seeded fresh jalapeno, (add seeds if you want hotter.

How To Make shelley's easy salsa

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients in food processor and pulse until desired consistency. Will keep in refrigerator for up to a week and a half.
  • Step 2
    Note: use a microplane to zest the lime.
