This simple salsa is excellent with corn tortilla chips, on fajitas or even as a zesty addition to a bowl of your favorite soup. While the heat index is surprisingly low compared to what you might think, it is not for the faint of heart.

- 3 pounds fresh jalapenos, stems removed
- 3 tablespoons garlic powder
- 3/4 tablespoon cumino
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 2 - limes, juiced
- - salt and freshly ground pepper
How To Make salsa verde

Step 1Boil jalapenos in large pot until soft, approximately 15 minutes

Step 2Transfer soft jalapenos to food processor with approximately 1 cup of water from pot and process until mixture is very smooth

Step 3Add garlic powder, cumin, cilantro and lime juice and pulse a few times to combine

Step 4Add salt and pepper to taste
