salsa by sondra
(1 RATING)
Don't know where I got this recipe. I don't even know who Sondra is. i just know this is the best salsa I have ever made. With all of the fresh tomatoes & peppers in my garden now. I have made 35 jars of salsa this summer and I am going to make some more tomorrow. If you want a really good Salsa try this one.

How To Make salsa by sondra
-
Step 1Skin tomatoes, quarter and cook for 15-20 minutes. Then Drain off juice.( I put mine in a colander to drain)
-
Step 2Put drained tomatoes and all the other ingredients in a large pot and cook for 20 minutes. Put 1/2 teaspoon of salt to each pint jar. Fill with Salsa and pressure at 10 lbs for 10 minutes.
-
Step 3I add Black Beans (drained & rinsed) and (or) corn to mine sometimes. I have also made some jars with Splenda instead of sugar.
