Serve as a salsa cold. If used as a base for shrimp or chicken (add: veg. or chicken broth) (add: can of spiced tomatoes and cup of water) boil down and cook meats in broth.. and serve over rice or Mofongo!!

Ingredients

  • 4 large bell papers (1 green, 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 orange) (chopped)
  • 1 large sweet onion (chopped)
  • 1 - fresh jalapeno (chopped)
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro – chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers (whole)
  • 1/2 cup halved olives w/ pimentos
  • 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 can can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic. (or more)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil.

How To Make salsa

  • Step 1
    Chop Bell peppers, onion, Cilantro & Jalapeno. mix together in a bowl.
  • Step 2
    Add all other ingredients and let sit for at least and hour and serve as a salsa or cold topping.
  • Step 3
    Alternatively: Use as a base for shrimp or chicken. add to a sauce pan with chicken or Vegi Broth. A can of spiced tomatoes and a cup of water
  • Step 4
    Boil down and cook shrimp or chicken in lightly boiling broth and serve ever rice or Mofongo..
