jalapeno salsa
Another one of my salsa recipes written down on the back of an old envelope. I used to make this years ago and loved it's zing in chili! Yields about 4 pints

Ingredients
- 3 cups tomatoes: peeled and chopped
- 3 cups jalapenos: seeded and chopped
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 6 cloves garlic: minced
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, fresh
- 2 teaspoons oregano, dried
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup cider vinegar
How To Make jalapeno salsa

Step 1Combine all ingredients into a heavy pot

Step 2Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes. STIR to prevent scorching

Step 3Pour into jars, leave 1/4" head space

Step 4Process hot water bath for 15 minutes
