Homemade salsa is so easy to make -- why buy the store-bought stuff.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium tomatoes, seeds removed and cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup red onion, cut into chunks
  • 3 small cloves garlic
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup cilantro
  • 1/3 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon chochula or other hot sauce (to your taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 - 1 teaspoons red wine vinegar (to your taste)
  • - salt to taste

How To Make homemade salsa my way

  • Step 1
    Chop tomatoes and onion into chunks and place in a food processor. Add remaining ingredients and pulse to desired consistency
  • Step 2
    Let salsa ingredients sit for at least 1/2 - 1 hour.
  • Step 3
    Serve as a condiment to grilled chicken, beef or on tacos.
