This recipe has been passed down through my family for generations. I remember my grandmother and my mother making it. Yummy as a relish with chicken or pork. It of course makes yummy pie. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Ingredients
- 10 large tomato (green)
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon clove, ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 pints apples, granny smith (chopped)
- 1 pound raisins (ground)
How To Make green tomato mincemeat

Step 1Grind Green Tomatoes, put in strainer and drain off all juice. Grind raisins

Step 2Measure one pint of ground tomato. Pour into a 10 cup pot.

Step 3Add remaining ingredients and cook on low heat until thick. About an hour

Step 4Put into hot pint jars and seal while boiling hot. For a sure seal, once lids are on and tightened, turn bottles upside down till cool.
