One thing I did learn from my grandma was canning. I cherished every moment canning those fresh veggies out of the garden.

2 qt
tomatoes -- chopped
1 medium
green pepper -- chopped
1 large
red onion -- chopped
2 clove
garlic -- diced
1/3 c
cilantro -- chopped
2 large
jalapenos -- diced
1/2 c
apple cider vinegar
2 tsp
pickling salt
1 tsp
cumin powder

How to Make Canned Salsa


  • 1Mix all ingredients together in heavy pot and simmer until thick, stirring frequently.
  • 2May need to add Tomato Paste for thickness.
  • 3Process in pint jars in steam or hot water bath canner for 10 minutes.
  • 4One batch makes about 3 Pints.
  • 5I would suggest making 6 to 10 batches in one pot for canning.
